The Mises Institute is a wealth of information about "Austrian" economics (i.e., laissez-faire capitalism) and politics. Check out the Daily Articles, the many journals published by the Institute, and even entire books that you can read online, including Ludwig von Mises's Human Action and Murray Rothbard's Man, Economy, and State.

Reason Foundation
Advocates of "free minds and free markets." The Los Angeles-based Reason Foundation houses the Reason Public Policy Institute and publishes Reason Magazine.

Congressman Ron Paul's Home Page
The Republican congressman from Texas, nicknamed "Dr. No" by his colleagues on Capitol Hill for his unwillingness to cave in and vote on legislation that violates individual liberty and the principles of the Constitution (he is an Ob/Gyn doctor in "real" life), is perhaps the only consistent defender of liberty, fiscal responsibility, and constitutional government in Congress. He also happens to be a very eloquent writer. Check out his Texas Straight Talk weekly column.

Oakland, California-based think tank that takes a scholarly approach to promoting the virtues of a free society and exposing the vices of government interference. The Institute publishes The INDEPENDENT REVIEW, a quarterly journal.

Maintained by the Individual Society for Individual Liberty, Free-Market.Net is billed as "the world's premier libertarian portal." It contains an incredibly comprehensive database of policy studies, articles, FAQs, links to free-market think tanks and other organizations, and even a job and scholarship bank for such organizations. The database is searchable by category, topic, state, or region.
